If Wales is serious about tackling the climate emergency, it has to provide serious funding for active travel. Join us on October 2nd for this year’s Cycle on the Senedd to demand an investment of £20 per head per annum in active travel in Wales and a comprehensive active travel strategy. We will be cycling from Pedal Power in Pontcanna to the Senedd steps where we will lobby Ministers and Assembly Members. Family Cycle Ride

For the last few years a small gang of local ‘Ponty’ cyclists have been brushing away the cobwebs with a short, family-friendly, cycle ride from the Llanover Arms to the Old Bwl pub in Ynysybwl.  The outings have been rather infrequent although well attended.  All that is about to change though. As of March, the ride will become a permanent fixture.  The plan is to do the ride once a month, every month, on the first Sunday of the month.
